Leasing
Acquire a new asset but don’t want to commit to ownership
- You select the equipment and supplier then we buy the equipment on your behalf
- We purchase the equipment and lease it to your business for an agreed term
- At the end of the agreement, you either return or continue to use it for an additional charge
- You ‘rent’ the asset rather than own it
Hire Purchase
Spread the cost of buying new equipment or machinery
- You fix the cost of acquiring an asset and spread the cost over time. At the end of the term the asset is yours
- You select the equipment and supplier then we buy the equipment on your behalf
Refinancing
Access cash by unlocking the value of your existing assets
- Refinancing offers the best of both worlds because you can still use the asset in question at the same time as capitalising on a cash injection straight into your business
- Refinancing is different to leasing and hire purchase because you are accessing funding via your existing asset

Gil joined BFS in July 2024 with a wealth of experience, having previously worked as Head of the Broker team at Simply, and prior to that in a similar role at Close. With over 40 years in the industry, Gil is renowned for his standout leadership and deep knowledge of the market.

Allison has worked with Bibby Leasing for over 27 years in various roles. Most recently she has taken up the role of Vendor Business Development Manager within our Vendor and Strategic Partnership division listening to our introducers and client’s needs to deliver the right solutions for them.

Karolina joined the Bibby Sales Department in early 2023, responsible for the North of England and Scotland. Karolina previously worked in the Asset Finance market for over 5 years. She is currently finishing her Diploma in Asset Finance at the London Institute of Banking & Finance.

Mike joined BFS in January 2025, bringing over 25 years of experience in the Asset Finance industry, having held similar roles with Hampshire Trust Bank and Aldermore Bank. Mike is responsible for developing and managing broker relationships across the South of England, helping businesses access the finance they need to grow.

Tony joined us in February 2025, with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, including extensive success in small ticket flow business. Prior to joining BFS, Tony was at HTB, working alongside Mike Kilford, and now working together again, their combined expertise continues to strengthen our presence in the South.

£1.7 million
We secured repeat business by refinancing £1.7 million of assets for a drainage clearing company. The fact the assets were already on the book meant that the speed to decision was quicker and the client saved on valuation costs. The client also has an Invoice Finance facility with BFS, demonstrating our ability to combine solutions effectively.

£5 million
Leveraging both Invoice Finance and Asset Finance, we provided funding of around £5 million to a Scottish based recycling company. This was a complex transaction where working efficiently across teams, we were able to close the deal in seven days, including on-site visits, changes to assets lists and subsequent documentation.

We provided a £225,000 Sale and Hire Purchase facility to a Steel Engineering Business located in Sheffield on a 48-month term. The funds raised were used to refinance various machine tools and assist with the acquisition of the business. The acquisition was further supported through the provision of a £350,000 Export Finance facility. The deal was paid out in twelve working days.

We provided a £125,000 Refinance facility for a Volvo Dump Truck to a plant and machinery hire company based in the South East of England. This refinance helped our client meet their working capital requirements, supporting their ongoing operations and financial flexibility.
